Online Returns
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we will not be accepting any returns and exchanges until further notice. This is to ensure everyone's safety. Thank-you for your patience and understanding.
Returns
Within 30 days of purchase, Home Essentials stores will refund any unused or undamaged merchandise with special exceptions. The item must be in the same condition as before you received it. It also has to be in the original packaging. You must have also bought the item from our online website in order to qualify for an exchange.
The refund will be credited to your original method of payment, once we have your original receipt or proof of purchase. The item to return or exchange must come with the original packaging.
For hygienic reasons, there will be no refund on bras, underwear, swimsuits, pillows, pillow protectors, mattresses and mattress protectors, unless the product is in its original unopened packaging.
Exchanges
We only allow exchanges for items that are damaged or defective. If you need any help send us an email at hotbuyouts@outlook.com and we will give you instructions for exchanging.
Clearance Items
Only regular items can be refunded, any item that is marked as on sale or on clearance cannot be refunded nor exchanged.
Procedures
• Refund or Exchange of merchandise must be made within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt
• The customer must present the sales receipt to the cashier
• All Refunds must be authorized by the Store Manager or a person designated by the store Manager in the presence of the Customer
Small Appliances
• It is crucial that the customer retain their receipt to benefit from the product warranty. The packaging should be kept in case there is a need to return the item
• Defective appliances or electronics must be tested at the time of return in the customers’ presence. The problem must be identified with the customer and properly noted on the item when returning the defective merchandise to the warehouse
• After 30 days, the customer needs to contact the customer service number included in the warranty. Some of our suppliers have contracts with service centres that will repair the defective item for the customer

Shipping
For refunding items that were shipped, please mail it to the return address provided in the email after your refund request.
You are responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning the item.
All shipping costs are non-refundable.
The time it takes for your refund or exchange to be completed varies depending on where you live.
