History

Hot Buy Outs' parent company is Home Essentials. The first Home Essentials store was founded in September 2010 within the Scarborough community. What was just a small store quickly became a success often serving Toronto communities.

Fast forward to now, there are currently 3 Home Essentials stores in Ontario:
  1. 2480 Eglinton Avenue East, Toronto
  2. 31 Tapscott Road, Scarborough
  3. 499 Main Street, Brampton Unit #88

    A growth plan is currently in place and more store openings are to come in the near future. Stores range in size from 15,000 to 55,000 square feet and offer an impressive variety of fashion and basic apparel lines plus a broad selection of home furnishing, house wares, gift wares, toys, bed and bath, electronic appliances, furniture, hardware, snacks, and drinks.

    Just recently, Home Essentials made a digital shift that allows customers to shop online. The website is easy to use and offers the opportunity to discover products through beautiful images (that were taken in-person in our store locations) and colourful descriptions. All online products are offered through a home delivery option, as well as a free in-store pick-up service.

    Additionally, customers will be able to have their orders fulfilled through shipping - all purchases over $99 are eligible for free shipping. There is a warehouse located in Toronto that allows Hot Buy Outs and Home Essentials to ship orders very fast to customers in Canada, USA, and elsewhere.

    Home Essentials operates as a family-run business just as it started out a few years ago. Each employee is a valued member of the ever-growing family.
